Dr. Norman Shealy

Late Dr. Norm Shealy was an influential American neurosurgeon renowned for pioneering Holistic Pain Management and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Shealy developed innovative treatments such as spinal cord stimulation and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS).

He founded the American Holistic Medical Association and established Holos University dedicated to treating body, mind, and spirit. He authored over 300 papers and 29 books, while mentoring several generations of Holistic practitioners.

His legacy includes advancing spiritual, interdisciplinary, and mind-body approaches in medicine as well as touching the lives of thousands through clinical work, research, and global education.
