Inner Strength Training
A New Ongoing Class
Tuesdays starting October 6th @ 5:00 pm PT / 8pm ET
Inner Strength Training is a dynamic mind-body practice led by Tyler Ryan, who has studied with Lama Tantrapa for more than a decade. The practice uses opposing forces within the body: pressing and pulling the left and right sides against one another, engaging contrary muscle groups, and creating intentional resistance through movement to awaken greater strength, awareness, and vitality from within.
Rather than simply moving through poses, you will learn to actively engage more of the muscle fibers you already have, while bringing awareness and circulation into areas that may feel numb, dormant, tight, or disconnected. Through mindful resistance and fluid movement, the practice can help release accumulated tension, increase mobility and flexibility, improve coordination, and cultivate a deeper sense of embodied strength and flow.
Each class explores the entire body through a combination of dynamic standing, seated, and reclining movements, allowing you to experience strength and mobility from many different angles. The practice gradually transitions from energizing resistance work into softer movements and self-massage techniques, helping the body unwind, integrate, and settle into a state of greater ease.
